BACKGROUND
Here is a very rough draft of my character. I run a rare book/antique store with my aunt and uncle. One will be my mentor the other will be a dependant NPC. I came to help my aunt out after my uncle had a “stroke”. He really lost a major battle and is barely coherent. My aunt has been teaching me all she knows. One of her problems is that she is looking for that spell or object to give me that extra advantage. Sometimes that can lead to problems both mystical and legal.



I want some of my powers to be overt, but most should be covert. I wouldn’t mind some telekinetic ability.



I do not see myself as a mind blaster. That kind of thing can develop over time. Maybe I could just give people headaches or just agitate them.



I want to be able to get into fist fights, but martial arts would seem to draw attention. Maybe something like brawling/boxing?



I left most of the powers at their base level.



I would not be against a few foci with this character



I would like to be well traveled, possibly have some negotiating/business skills. How else would I be able to get all six volumes of Von Riskinov’s Ethereal Text’s?
