10 Psych Lim: Preachy on the subject of metahuman unity, sometimes to the point of "Okay, Frankie, just shut up about it" (Common, Moderate)
10 Psych Lim: Will actively seek out other mentalists, following up on even flimsy evidence (Common, Moderate)
10 Psych Lim: Overprotective of fellow metahumans, even villains, whom he hopes to redeem (Common, Moderate)
10 Psych Lim: Seeks the path of propriety, will go out of his way to insure that all is fair and proper (Common, Moderate)
Notes: This can conflict with his other Psych Lims, such as if it were to somehow be improper to try and convert a metahuman to the cause of humanity, or if the proper thing to do were to be to allow a newly-discovered mentalist to go his way without being contacted. In such cases Franklin would find himself quite flummoxed, perhaps even paralyzed by indecision.

Notes: This represents the portion of the populace who views metahumans with suspicion, envy, and even contempt.

A native of York, in Great Britain, Franklin is the son of Lawrence and Grace Lloyd, and had a fairly typical upbringing in the affluent home of a banker and his small nuclear family. His interest in art began in secondary school, where a teacher named Mr. Dodd noticed Franklin's talent at painting. Never having developed into a world-class painter himself, Franklin was content to pursue a career in arts management until an opportunity came along to work as a freelance gallery representative in New York. His natural charm and ambitious nature, combined with his knowledge of the art world and the colorful personalities in it, have lead him to success as an art dealer. Right now Franklin lives in Midtown New York in a nice apartment with his younger brother Richie, who is unaware of Franklin's metahuman status. Fortunately Richie is seldom home, kept busy by his studies at NYU and frequent acoustic guitar gigs at coffee shops. More prominent in Franklin's life is his former girlfriend Bette, a headstrong and independently-minded native-born New York gallery owner in whom Franklin has confided about his newfound abilities.
Franklin as a metahuman finds himself motivated toward uniting metahumanity under a world-wide flag. He also seeks monetary gain wherever he can find it legitimately, partly in hopes of securing his own future, and partly to fund his dream of a metahuman union. He doubts very much that he is the only metahuman with mental powers, and particularly wants to meet other mentalists, partly to add them to the ranks of his dream organization, but mostly in order to size them up for threat assessment. He makes no secret of his desire to unify metahumans, and will prattle on about it until catching himself. Franklin has the unfortunate habit of viewing metahumans as necessary to the advancement of the human species, and therefore will endeavor to protect the lives of any he encounters, even those who are acting against society's interests, believing himself to be up to the task of 'converting' these wayward souls to the cause of humanity.
Now, you're being quite a naughty boy. Put down that bus immediately. Okay, good, now the other one. I said put it down, not drop it!
Franklin is keeping his cards close to his chest for the time being, preferring to let on only that he is a simple mind reader and not a psionic capable of simultaneously giving every person in New York a splitting headache at the same moment. He'll be in a support and logistics role for a while, feeling things out until he's certain he can let his powers shine more robustly without unduly dangerous repurcussions for himself or his fellow metahumans.
